Information stored on your device

Penguin Dive stores progress, scores, fish balances, equipment, missions, preferences and purchase-delivery records locally. When Game Center is used, a player identifier and pending scores may be stored to send scores for the correct account. The game does not provide a Lazau Labs cloud-save account.

First-launch setup and age ranges

Your selected age range, acknowledged terms version and acknowledgement date are stored on this device, not sent to Lazau Labs. The app does not ask for your name or full date of birth. Under-13 profiles play offline without Game Center or fish-pack purchases. Profiles under 18 receive no third-party ads: Google advertising and consent services are not initialized or requested for those profiles. Age selection is a local safeguard, not identity verification or verifiable parental consent. Penguin Dive is a general-audience game, not an Apple Kids Category app; its App Store content rating is separate from its advertising age gate.

Game Center

Apple manages sign-in and leaderboards. The game sends earned scores for the signed-in player and retrieves rankings, scores and player display names. Other players may see your Game Center display name and score. The game never asks for your Apple Account password. Availability depends on account and parental restrictions.

Purchases and ad rewards

Apple processes payments. The game receives product and transaction information to verify and deliver fish without duplicate delivery; it does not receive payment-card details. Free beta grants and completed ad rewards are recorded locally. Ad-reward records include a random completion identifier, time and daily claim count to prevent duplicate fish delivery; they do not advance caught-fish missions or leaderboard scores.

Advertising for adult profiles

The ad-enabled release uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Before requesting ads for an adult profile, the app updates consent information and displays a privacy form when required. It requests non-personalized ads, disables publisher first-party ID and does not request Apple's tracking authorization. Non-personalized does not mean no data collection: Google may process IP address and inferred approximate location, device or app identifiers, advertising views and interactions, diagnostic reports and performance information for advertising, measurement, security and analytics.

Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partners. Adult players can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy. If a required consent check fails, ads are unavailable and play can continue. This app does not request precise location, contacts, camera or microphone permission for gameplay.

Children and family choices

Players under 18 should ask a parent or legal guardian to review the terms. Parents can manage purchases and Game Center with Apple account and Screen Time settings. The game has no player chat or custom profile-registration form. A local purchase parent check is not verifiable parental consent to collect children's information.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until app data is removed, subject to device backups. Apple controls retention of its account, purchase and leaderboard records; Google controls retention of advertising and consent records under its policies. Removing the game does not itself delete Apple or Google records. Manage those services through their privacy controls.

Website, beta testing and support

Our hosting providers receive ordinary connection information to deliver this website. Apple separately processes App Store, Game Center and TestFlight information under its policies; beta feedback may be shared with us. If you email support, we use the information you send to respond and investigate your request. Do not send passwords or payment-card information. We update this policy when the game's data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
